Constantly arguing with my parents?

I love them and all but we are always arguing. My mom had some friends coming over and she wanted me to get dressed out of my PJ's. Problem was there was no boxers in the house and she was still getting angry at me for not being dressed. What solutions are they to stop the arguments?
