Does he like me? What should I do?

So, I like this guy in school, and my friends are all friends with him. I talked to him once with the rest of my friends, but only said a sentence. Then, he requested me on my myspace, and i started the conversation. Our conversation was kind of awkward, and he took a while to answer, but still answered my writings..I said hi to him today and i didn't here him respond..so i went up to him and told him that i said hi..and then he said i said hi..and then i said well i didnt hear u so he said sorry..so i said ok geez, and left..What should i do?
