Matthew 23:8-12 .What is Jesus teaching in these verses?

In Chapter 25 he gives the parable of the talents. Those who use theirs wisely are given their reward, greater service. This is because with greater service comes greater happiness. Prestige is not reward and should not be given as such. You are dishonoring the parable and the recipient with human respect. This is not a contest of egos, but one to enter the Kingdom. On that road are all things added. I, myself, apart from God am not responsible for this teaching because every lesson is custom made for the recipient and the only way I can master that is by standing under the Christ and letting him dictate it to me through omniscience. In this way I am in the second position, not the first, and therefore, less.
