Why do the Toronto Raptors have so many white people on their team and almost no African-Americans?

Has anyone ever noticed they have so many hispanics or white people (Jose Calderon, Andrea Barnani, Kris Humpfries, Jason Kapono, Anthony Parker, Roko Ukic) on the Raptors? I mean, really, they don't have people you would expect to be a normal NBA player. The only normal NBA players they have are Shawn Marion and Chris Bosh. I don't understand it. I am not being racist at all.
