Guys i really need help w/this(honest opinions only and guy's answers only plz!)?

so this year i'm going to be a freshman in high school and i've liked this guy who's three years older than me since I was in third grade.but I'm really good friends with his little sister(she knows i like him and she's not to thrilled that i like him but she's not p-eed off about it either.)but last year he found out and he told people who asked if he was going to ask me out that i was in middle school still and he was a sophmore.but we had a banquet this year and some of my friends said that he was looking in my direction the whole time.well last weekend at a carwash we were washing his car and he had his sungles on and i was the only one who was washing the front end and he kept looking in the direction that direction and once i looked at him and he didn't look away but i did and then i looked back at him and he was still looking at me.lately hes been talking to me more than he did the last 2 years.well im wondering if it sounds like he's starting to like me finally?give me ur op
