Would Jesus have forgiven Judas for his betrayal?

Is there anything in scripture, or logically speaking that supports the idea that Jesus would have forgiven Judas for betraying him? I mean Jesus talked a lot about forgiveness and not holding a grudge, but Judas did hand Jesus over to the romans to be killed?
